Nomis Limited – A Happy 17th Birthday and Looking Forward to 17 Years More…

This year Nomis is 17 years old: 17 years on and still going strong with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Sales Performance Management (SPM) and Website Design & Development always at the heart of what we do and talk about.

On the 10th of June 1992, Nomis Limited was set up as a result of George Petri's desire to help SMEs to improve their ability to sell their products and services more effectivly by implementing affordable sales procedures and processes which at the time were only accessible to large corporates. The passion in helping improve sales was born out of years of the international experience that George Petri had in being a top sales producer and subsequently a regional manager for GE Calma.

And so 17 years later - that same passion and belief in improving sales has remained steadfast in the running of Nomis Limited. Many things have changed since we started, technology has grown at an exponential rate and we have seen multiple versions of our sales performance system SymVolli change along with it, from its incarnation as SalesVision back in the days of MS DOS and Windows 3.1 to the very powerful web based system we are developing today.

Similarly, we have seen many developments and seen different incarnations of Maximizer over the years and the partnership we have had that has existed almost as long as the company has been founded.

It is sometimes difficult to fathom where all that time has gone and it has seen some tremendous ups and downs over the years which have been both challenging and rewarding. That experience has gone into developing the business that we have today and it is something that we are extremely proud of.

So, Happy Birthday! Here’s to another 17 years of sales improvement.
